Can I have fortnightly lessons?
The short answer: yes. The long answer: This isn't something we generally offer because we can't then offer the time slot to a weekly student. If you are able to find someone else who you'd like to alternate weekly lessons with, for example and family member or friend, then this is absolutely something we can arrange!
What happens if I miss a lesson?
That's absolutely fine! We fully understand that it can be hard to come to lessons every week. We have a clear and simple policy around catch up lessons detailed in our Terms & Conditions. In short, students enrolled in one-on-one lessons are entitled to reschedule 1 lesson per term, provided you can give us notice. Check out the full Ts and Cs for more details!
How long does it take to learn to play an instrument?
There is no clear answer to this question. The time it takes to learn an instrument varies hugely between students, as the biggest factor is practice. The more you practice, the faster you'll develop! We recommend students practice for at least 15 minutes per day, and at least 30 mins per day for our more advanced students.
Am I too old to learn to play an instrument?
Absolutely not. Nobody is ever too old to learn! In fact, learning an instrument is a fantastic way to keep your brain engaged. We teach students of all ages, from absolute beginners to highly advanced musicians looking to take it to the next level.
